93 Octane

My owner's manual recommends 93 Octane fuel. In southern cal about the best you can find is 92.

Should I be using an octane booster? What damage can potentially happen?

I have never heard of stock-compression, well-maintained Porsches having problems running on SoCal pump gas. The early 911S, or modified cars (especially turbos) in some cases do need higher octane than normally avail at the pump, but the rest of us should be OK w/ 92.
