Oil line removal and SSIs
Is it true to remove the thermostat to crankcase oil line ,you have to remove the thermostat to oil tank line at the thermostat also? I can see that removing the inside line at the thermostat looks very hard, not much clearance. I purchased a 36mm 12pt wrench from Pelican, but it cannot get into either end of the therm. to crankcase line.
Are there any tricks to only removing the one line, or do both need to come off? Any helpful hints other than cutting? Thanks for your time

Why not remove them both, if the alternative is cutting? I wedged a piece of wood between the body and the T-stat, it helped me get leverage on the line without torquing the thermostat itself. The position of the wood in the photos looks deceiving, but once you see the angle you can get on the nuts with a wrench, it'll make sense. Lots, and I mean lots, of PB blaster and patience before you attack.
