BUT, need help with front Targa SEAL

placed the front targa to winshield seal as recommended, read the threads, minimal glue etc...
BUT now, the targa top sits very high up , and it just looks wrong.

Do i need to shave the seal down? I thought shaving was for slightly later models...

i shaved mine in accordance with cars inc's instructions. sits pretty well. dan seems happy to send the info out to the masses, but doesn't seem to want it on this board. send me an email and i'll email you everything he sent me as attachments.

list of changes upgrades ALMOST FINISHED... for now.

Mechanical:

changed fuel pump and fuel lines
changed battery - red top optima
shortened cables (spark), adjusted timing
Rebuilt webers
turbo valve covers
valve job
shocks front and back
brakes and disks
rebuilt rear calipers
fixed heater assemblies as PO put them in backwards!??!?!?
wiper fluid pump
Sucro relays, H4s
Rewired tach
Speedo odometer
Fan belt
Sway bars
changed front links
Short shift kit
Heater pull cable
Fuel sender unit
Rewired back lights
Disconnected one of the TWO fuel pumps
Wheel bearings front
Tie rods front


Left to do: Alternator making noise... soon will need a new one

JUST IN TIME TO STORE IT FOR WINTER !?^#$@!$#?>?!!!
