Gas Strut repair
A few years ago I purchase a device the clamps on the shaft of a hood shock and when the hood is opened it slides along the shaft until it locks the hood open wether the gas shock is good or not. I have not needed to purchase any more hood shocks since. It is a great device, but I cannot find them anywhere. Anyone have one of these shock assists and where did you get it.

I have one I purchased from a Snap On tool salesman although it is not made by Snap On,possibly Lisle but I've seen them on other tool trucks also.
