I've been chasing a wet rear passenger side floor problem for a while now, and have found moisture on the inside of the rear window seal. I'm pretty certain this is my intrusion point and I'm guessing I'll need to R and R the rear window to fix it.
Until I can get to that I want to pull out the upholstery, seats, carpet, sound padding, and whatever else is soggy back there. Under the rear upholstered piece there's a piece that's sort of rubbery with hairy insulation on the body side. It's pulled free from the lower section but there's a long section just under the window that seems to be fastened down in a way I can't figure out. Could be one long bit of adhesive I suppose. Didn't find any fasteners through from the engine bay side. So, how does this piece come out? Thanks,

Its glued in. Just pull. If you want to reuse it you may want to apply some heat from a heat gun so you minimize the risk of tearing. Good Luck.
