Thanks Warren

Recently I posted a question about ignition problems with my '72 911T. I was getting no spark with an engine that ran (but smoked badly!) before I pulled it out for a rebuild. Warren, with a few simple tips, sugestions, and recommendations, was able to get me to analyze my ignition system and fix the problem. Anyway, with his help, the motor fired today, ran beautifully, and gave me goosebumps once again.

Just wanted to say thanks, Warren.

I think he has done this for many more people than me.

You are quite welcome, Jim!

Every once in a while , I enjoy dispelling the myth that the early cars are 'hard' to work on, or require training in the Black Forrest!

Granted, familiarity with VW Beetle maintenance is a better background than Detroit Iron or FWD water-pumpers, but I have found that basic principles of operation do not change just because the car came from Stuttgart!
