O2 Sensor and Air / Fuel Meter

Is it okay to wire an air / fuel meter inline with the O2 sensor or will it cause a problem with the signal going to the DME? This is on a 3.2 engine.

What do the instructions say?

I would say parallel to rather than inline (series). Voltage generated by the 02 sensor must be available to both circuits.

I took my O2 sensor out and ran with a wide band.. 3.2's run fine with O2 unplugged

I think he wants to monitor the 02 voltage while it's connected. I see no problem making a parallel tap as long as the meter has enough impedance.

Now that I read better I think your right....enough impedance then should be no problem...I think the reading is supposed to go between 0 and 1 volt or something like that..the word is that you should see the voltage swing back and forth then you know the system/feedback is working...
