78 SC stereo delete

takin out all the original Blau steruo stuff (deck, amp , equalizer)

what has anyone done in place of it? Extra gauges? just paneled it off? a pocket? how about some ideas?

Dave - I just got a block off plate from a car stereo shop and installed it. Probably cost $5.00 all up. I race my car so it was about weight saving rather than good looks.

Hi Lewis - don't want to hijack Dave's thread but all original bits were sold on Ebay ages ago and I didn't take any photos. I am sure lots of racers replace Steering Wheels, Clocks and Stereos as I have done.

no prob....

Ill send pics tomorrow..I have it all pulled anyhow.. some num nuts cliped the wiring on the back of the EQ...so youd have to figure it out....

I just did the same (stereo delete), and bought a block-off panel from Pelican. It was cheap, and just clipped in. I will take a pic in the morning and post for you.
