I put too much oil

To make a long story short, I overfilled the oil reservoir, drove the car for 15 minutes.

I made one hell of a smoke show. Got home and empty the extra 1.5 quarts of oil.

There is no smoke now, but could I have done some damage?

No damage done. It is part of the initiation to driving a 911. We all have done it.

You might want to open your air filter box and do a little clean up.
It usually gets a little messy in there afterwards.

Maybe 50. I think he was just telling us he's human........

I did it to a Boxster. And that's hard to do.

Did it myself even though I had read about it. That dumb dip stick got me. Only once!!!!! It would be fun to see how many of us have done this, and will admit it.
