Rock went into my headlight, no worky!

Well theres a hole in my right headlight (guessing from a rock), and now the bulb seems to be out. The headlights are stock. I searched but no one had the same problem I am thinking, is it just the bulb or did the rock to more damage and would i have to replace more than just the bulb.

Hopefully I'm wrong, just need some assurance. Also does anyone have a dummies guide picture process of removing the H-light. I found descriptions but I just get frustrated, pictures would be real nice!!

thanks

sammy

if it is the stock headlight, they are sealed beams. Just get another one at your local car parts store. To remove, just take off the screw at the bottom of the chrome or painted headlight ring. After that, there are 3 more screws that hold your headlight in. Just unplug the old one and plug in the new one and you're done.

Just take your car down. They'll ask if you have regular or halogen. I didn't know and I just bought 2 halogens. lol

If you are being serious, wander into your friendly local auto parts store (or wal-mart) and tell them you need a headlight for a 1978 Porsche 911 (your car?)(wal-mart you'll have to look it up yourself).

If you want to sound arrogant tell them you need a parabolic aluminized reflector lamp for your Porsh-sha.

If you have the Euro headlights conversion open your wallet and replace the lens and the bulb.
