911 tire sizes???????????

i have 205 60 15 on her now if i wanted to go bigger and wider what size could i go to??? i have 7 inch rims on the rear 6 inch on the front stock fenders 79 911 targa will 225 60 15 fit without rubbing

I have 215/60R15 Bridgestones, no problems front or rear on 15" and standard flares. This has been discussed at length before, so a search may help.

Assuming you have rear flares with the 7" wheels you may be able to go wider at the rear.
