Does anyone use an MSD digital 6 ignition box?

I have not seen any talk of them here and wonder why.

I have one hooked up to a '79 BMW Euro 3.5 engine in an E21 chassis with a pertronix electronic trigger unit in it's distributor and it works great.
I had to use the MSD tach adapter to make the tach work.
There are many adjustable features including 2 adjustable rev limiters built in. I like that because I can set the second limiter to 4000rpm or wherever, and turn it on when I have to valet park somewhere.

All I ever see anyone using or discussing is the slightly less expensive analog MSD 6 AL.
If you add up all the features you get alot more for your money with the digital 6.

I would like to take it off my BMW and put it on my 930 for the use of the rev limiters alone.

Is there something people don't like about the MSD Digital 6?

I love my Digital 6 but its not on my 911, its on my Lister. It has worked flawlessly for 3 years. I think for most folks it has more features than they really need, which also equates to more cost to buy.

Almost forgot, the best thing is the Digital 6 has an adjustable rev limiter and does not need those over priced chips.

I have a conventional MSD 6AL, but instead of the single chip limiter I hooked up a dash mounted MSD rev limit selector switch. Very convenient.
