Upgrades to car....

I'm doing the new exhaust, and got the turbo tie rod kit. I'd like to do SS brake lines, and upgraded torsion bars as well.

Suggestions on both? What is ideal size for front and back?

Plus, anything else that is somewhat easy and inexpensive to help out this horse?

What is the intended use of the car? Track or Street or both?

Have a friend depress your gas pedal while you look at the throttle body. Now when he/ she floors it try to move the throttle in the engine bay by hand. Can it move further? If so you are not getting full throttle. Adjust for more power. Also check your full throttle sensor. Does it come on a little past 3/4 throttle? If not adjust it so it tell the DME to go full rich.

Track size for torsion bars... A lot of guys run23/ 31 (F/R) effective rates for the track. 21/28 for the street. You may want to revalve your shocks if you go with bigger torsion bars. Adjustable sway bars would also be a good upgrade and allow you to have some comfort on the street and allow for more stiffness at the track.

Stiffer sway bars will make your ride more harsh than stiffer torsion bars.

TRE strut bar will be the cheapest and most bang for your buck, of all the things I have done so far .......makes a big difference !!

The strut-bar will help in keeping the towers from flexing and allowing unwanted camber change but T-bars will have a more dramatic affect on handling. Remember that if you increase your spring rates, you dampening (struts) should also be uprated to match and get the most from your upgrade. Bilstein HD's and Sports are both good choices.

Look at Stop-Tech for the SS lines. I also used Porterfield R4-S pads and I am very happy ith the performance.
