any '84-'89 bentley manual discrepancies?

just wanted to follow up and let everyone know that i heard back from bentley publishing regarding our feedback. warren, myself, and a couple of others up here mentioned that they found some errors/discrepancies in the new manual, so i wrote them to see if we could forward the info in question to them.

anyways, i got an email back from bruce whittier (maybe the author???), and he said we could forward the info to him at his email address: bruce.whittier@rb.com. he said he would appreciate the information

i would assume we should not be utilizing this email address for general porsche mechanical/information questions; so please only forward relevant info with respect to the new '84-'89 carrera manual.

I'm not even sure how many I have found so far, probably 15 or 16 -- they are on several pages on three different notepads, and I found another one just yesterday!

So, I haven't emailed Bentley, yet ... I figure a month or so more, and the list will be complete enough to send to them.

Does anyone know if any of the '84 thru '89 Carreras used M8 Allen bolts for ANY of the CV-joints? I thought all of the cars since '68 used M10 Allen bolts, but I've never been under a G50-equipped car. Bentley shows torque values for both M8 and M10 bolts for the CV-joints, but no breakdown by year for any change, either! Some editor may have been confused by the fact that M10 Allen bolts use an 8 mm Allen drive bit for removal and installation!
