Still overseas otherwise would come over and assist. May be back in town for the install.
Have fun and take a lot of pictures, both for history and as well for the questions you WILL HAVE about something later. |
It's out! Much thanks to Jeff (CUL8R) and DonDavis for their help with the engine drop. I can't see that it would have happened without you guys.
The fuel injection, fan shroud, and engine tin have all been removed. Now the real fun begins. Jeff - I'm counting on your photographic memory to help put it all back together! Hopefully, that will be soon. |
leeh tempe precision powdercoat is close to you for all your sheet metal. very inexpensive and damn good work. we use them alot for our stuff. glad its out and just think of it as a very nice xmas present to your self. i think wevo motor/tranny mounts would be a very nice stocking stuffer idea??????
i have finals monyana and then i am a FREE MAN! if i pass???? g/friend pushing me for all out xmas assault on house, lights, big tree blah blah. finally had to tell her, i would rather dump bucks into p-car, than xmas. well needless to say that went over like a rock! i told her i would spring for some maids to come in to clean house for holidays and thats it! waiting for michelin pilot cups(2 flats w/yokos) to show up. tonneau cover done at verdones when i can get car down there, and finish off rally light pod on used hood, mounting and wiring. after that...........we will sit back and conjure up more ways to trim weight, go faster, and handle better. good luck with motor. 2 weeks of bliss at my house...............NO OIL LEAKS! |
