INDY F1
Any board members going to Indy later this month??? Could be a good time to meet other mambers over a "cold beverage"... Help me decide who to root for!!! My buddies are diehard Schumacher fans, I think I like Hakkinen... Hmmmm

Screw it. I'm cheering for Marc Gene. Go Minardi!

I know there will be 200,000 people there and it's all new but you still can't beat Montreal for an F1 race. The circuit is but a quick Metro ride from downtown Montreal and home to the largest group of the most beautiful girls that you will ever see.
I'm hoping Eddie Jordan can turn his season around and one of his cars will win the race. Hopefully, Trulli. Have Fun! |

I'll be at practice but I watch all races on the tube - best seats going. One of my freinds (and P-mechanic) is a 500 mechanic so I can usually get some pretty good passes. Also, one of our local PCA members is an automotive engineer that helped design the F1 track at Indy. He had a club meeting at his place last year and showed films and pictures of the track being built. Pretty cool. One of the perks was being allowed to drive his Porsche(s) around the 500 oval and the completed F1 track. A very large picture of his mint 356 sitting on the brick S/F line now hangs on the garage wall.

Scott, I am hoping to be there, and in the pits also if all goes well. Some folks I meet on vacation from Italy are setting me up with a pass.

I will be there all 3 days. A cold one is always a good one.
