Hi Pork Chops, I believe the copper bronze SC you posted as the example is the car that I used to own. Australian delivered in early '78. Lived most of it's life in Melbourne. I bought it from a very nice guy around mid 2007 at about 260km not long after its top end rebuild by Autocoupe. I brought it up to Brisbane. I sold it about 18 months later (silly me..) and I believe it stayed in Brisbane since. I saw it recently sold on carsales and very quickly too. At the time the ad said "original paint" which actually wasn't true as it had a complete respray 5+ years prior to my purchase. It was a lovely car to drive - suspension and steering were very well set up, short shifter, light weight with no aircon or sunroof, and it benefited from some exhaust work, including Monty muffler, and low gearing with 15 inch fuchs it accelerated better than many 3.2 Carreras I drove.. The colour was not popular at the time, but now of course things are different! Yours is looking absolutely brilliant! I'm back on board with a lovely '83 SC and I'm about to jump on the slippery slope, starting with wider Fuchs than my humble 6 and 7's. Enjoy your restored machine - it's a beauty. Cheers

Thanks for all of that. Very good to know. Make sure you make a thread for your slippery slope!
