O2 sensor ?
I just noticed that my O2 sensor is disconnected at the plug in the engine compartment. I have a test pipe with Bursch muffler that were recently installed along with a new sensor (P.O. had work done at an engine shop). Does it make any difference if it's connected or not?. When the engine is stone cold it takes a little bit of throttle modulation to get it to start and idle (about 10 seconds) and I was wondering if this had anything to do with it?.
Thanks. |
we'll see if others chime in...my car runs fine with O2 out...I did this to put a wide band reader to check the WOT AFR...while on the on WOT map the AFR was fine

Connecting the 02 sensor will not make any difference with your starting difficulties since it needs to warm up and that may take up to 5 mins. before it functions.
