Yep, do a search for "miata seat" or civic seat or integra seat, etc... on ebay and 99% of what pops up is cheap recaro copies.

Yeah, but how many of those cheap copies are actual counterfeits, bearing the RECARO name and logo? Not many on Ebay. Maybe it's a problem elsewhere.
There's nothing they can do about some brand X sport seat that happens to look like a Recaro. If they could enforce that, they'd put Corbeau, Sparco and other legitimate companies out of business. I do wish that Ebay would prohibit inaccurate keywords in the title, though. |

Don't know about that....nothing in the press release mentons whether "Recaro" is stamped on the fake seats or not...
Remember...the 911 "silhouette" is trademarked, too.... - Wil
