Peeling Stone Guards

I have two spots on the passenger side where the stone guard is starting to peel off. Is there any type of glue I can use to stick these areas back on?

I had the same problem and went to a guy that redoes seats etc.
He used some type of glue but to be honest I really am afraid that it might have damaged the paint. I don't know because I cant see it and it has stayed put. I guess I will always have the stone guards.
