lecarra steering wheel

need opinion and help, am using a momo protitopo but covered in wood in my 72 RS clone, found a old steering wheel made by lecarra. should i replace momo with lecarra? if i should, how to install? only have the wheel and no hub or adaptor , any body have one to sell?

If you want to install the LeCarra, you'll need a new hub for your car. Btw, Momo is making the Prototipo again.

thanks Bryan, where do i buy the hubs? I emailed lecarra but not sure if they got it. waiting for their reply. any body got a used one for sale?

I'm not sure, but that is a HUGE hub! Did you try ebay? I'd stick with a Momo as parts are more readily available.

yup, but i like the look of the lecarra, am scouring around for a used hub. maybe i'l get lucky.

I would keep the Momo, and if you prefer a leather cover to the wood I presume that you could cover the wood with a leather wrap. It's hard to beat a Prototipo, particularly in the early cars.

hmm, so far, no one has voted for my lecarra, , I like the momo in wood, it brightens up the cabin

I have a LeCarra that I will likely be selling very soon, as I just picked up my new wheel last weekend. I have a wheel, solid hub and Porsche horn button that fits a 1970 911. All in good shape, see pic below. Not sure of price yet. PM me if interested in the whole package; I don't want to split.
