Porsche Crest

The only reference to an SU Fuel Injection System on Google turned up a hit for the BRM Type 15 V-16 engine of the 1950s ...

And there is something in the second picture in the article that looks like the object you wish to ID!

Googled the company. Looks like they make stuff for aircraft. You might try researching the part number on their website.

From the info on the data plate, what you got there is a fuel metering pump for a Continential AVI-1790-8 6-cylinder aircraft engine. That engine was used in the M48A2 Patton battle tank.

The data plate also has a customer number, and ord number which might imply a government contract.

You may have a bit of gold there.

Maybe you know some body that has a manual or go here:

thank you guys for all the research, i couldn't find anything on this parts.
Strange thing is; I bought a whole storage (38.000kg) full of Porsche parts from a German Guy.
Which in case repaired Porsches from 1960 till 1996, he didn't financial make it a became in financial problems.
So i bought the whole store with all the parts in 1996.
I found some nice things between a lot of scrab, 906 ALU/steel wheels for example, and a lot of real RSR stuff.
I still have all parts in a storage but i find something interesting every month when i am there.
This part kept me interested for what it could be, but still don't know where it comes from.
The first thing i thought was some aviation part, because the only thing i found on the net was Aviation parts from Simmonds Precision Products.
And for now it would be an Old army tank part!!!
Strange world; Porsche, Aviation, Army........
Maybe some fellow pelican will recognizes the part, i hope so.
Thnx again for the help
