69 Tacho
Does any one know where I can buy a ballast resistor to suit a 1969 911E Tacho??
I don't want to convert the car to a later tacho or modify it internally but I am struggling to find a tacho. Thanks |

Chris,
They are NLA from Porsche and Bosch. You generally have to buy an entire electrical console from a wreck to get them, and I have seen ones advertised here that look like they were sumberged in salt water for a decade or so. Hard to test them without actually hooking them up. That being said, you might try an induction coil as in the following thread: Tach - oh - woe (pre '74) Good luck!
