Can this $34.99 AC gauge works on '87 911?
Harbor Freight is having s A/C gauge sale for $34.99. Can it works on a '87 911? Do I need to buy the adapter separately?

That will work, but those hoses look really short to me. You want to keep everything away from that spinning fan, which sucks things in really easily.
I bought a set at Sears, but I've been eyeing the one at toolwarehouse.com. I believe Pelican also sells nice ones. |

That one is for 134A. Have you converted from R-12 or planning to? Ken

It says it's for 134A, but the hoses work with R12 systems if you don't use the R134 end fittings that come with the kit. I used this exact gauge set on my R12 Sanden 507 compressor in my SC to verify that it was empty before converting to R134.
