Ignition System 911sc
I HAVE A PROBLEM STARTING MY 1980 911 SC .THERE IS NO SPARK . CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH SOME ADVICE AS TO HOW I SHOULD TEST THE IGNITION SYSTEM OR SUGGEST WHAT PARTS NEED TO BE CHECKED.

Do you hear a "whining" when you turn the key to the on position?
If not, the CDI box has crapped out.
