Koni red classic question
Hi,
I bought red koni classic inserts for the front for my 76 911 targa. By following the koni instructions to adjust I have notice one insert adjustment makes the shock resistance harder or softer while on another adjustment makes no difference to the resistance. Do I have dead shock out of the box? How can I confirm? Thank you. ![]()

Are you sure you are engaging the adjuster when you collapse the shock? You should be able to tell if the fork at the bottom of the rod is engaging the adjuster. You should then feel resistance when you turn the rod. If so and there is no difference, you could have a bad shock, but that would be a very rare occurrence.
More likely the adjuster is stuck and will need some persuasion to free it up.

Hi Gordon,
I feel the adjustor engage and go all the way tot the right and left the same way it does on the good shock.
