well i went ahead and pulled off my tail... i posted a thread for it, not much response... anyways, i love the look, way less boy-racer and much more Steve McQueen....

I'm still playing around with different grille ideas, this plexiglass piece i just put on for the car show... no way it flowed enough air, though i did get alot of comments on the plexiglass...more people realised that then the exaggerated flares....

hope you enjoy, i love the look

yup 05 cooperS headlights :P, not that, that was the purpose of the thread or post.... the headlights are one of my favorite mods, and i'll do it to any future pre 89 911's i modify...

any opinions on the big flares, no wing???especially with the flat front valance i think it (visually) pulls the car to the ground and looks mean

I like it.
Back when I had my SC, since it needed paint I was going to put a widebody and a 964 engine lid on it. Then I up and decided I needed something faster and bought a Turbo.
I still think about doing a widebody SC from time to time, though.

That looks incredible. What's is cost to do a conversion like that, all in? Steel or fibreglass???

I would like to do that to my '87!

Not a big fan of the 964's, but I've always liked the lines of the`94 C4's:

Bumper is the Strosek version of the 965 style.

rarly could you sent me a link were i could find that rear bumper... i've been looking to SMMMOOOTTTTHHHH things out back...

cheers
Nick

-the cost of the conversion depends on your local shop, and largely on the quality of work performed... but it isn't a cheap mod... and it is not really reversable...

Porsche Crest

The 89 Speedster was a Turbo body without tail (except a few narrow body ones sold in Eruope)

I thought I had seen some ducktails on widebody cars. I do believe it is an interesting look. Jim
