Cold weather spark plugs for 79 911SC ROW
Can anybody with a spec book for ROW cars, tell me what Porsche recommends for a '79 911SC. All I can find is for US cars. Also, for better cold weather starting, should I go to a hotter plug?

I am not aware of any differences in cold starts from one heat range plug to another! Have you checked your thermo-time switch and cold-start valve for proper operation? ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |

The thermotime switch and cold start valve work great. The engine always fires up strong after about a second or two of cranking. It then settles into an extremely rough and low idle for about five or six seconds and then finally catches all at once and idles at about 1800 RPM. (This all happens only when cold). I'm suspecting the WUR, but I want to rule out everything else. I've got a CIS system/control pressure tester that I'm planning on using this weekend, if my new O-rings get here.
