`87 Carrera brake light switches
Has anyone used these switches sold by our host on their 84-89 911 Carrera or Turbo?
Description "Master Cylinder brake light switch" 2 pole 2 required 911/Turbo 84-89 113-945-515H-M5064 I bought the pair and the two male spade connectors are on the pressure switches I received are 15mm spacing. On my Carrera the female connector and the original switches are 10mm spacing. Thanks,

Yes, I ordered these a little while back. When I realised that the spacing was different I returned them, only to find out that the 10mm spacing switches are no longer manufactured. You will have to remove the white plastic caps that hold the wires and connectors in order to use the new 15mm switches.
I just received my second set and will be installing them soon. Last edited by rdrr; 12-05-2006 at 12:16 AM.. |

If you still have to dive into the brake pedal to get the light to come on ... do a search for mechanical brake switch...
a bunch of us have abandoned the hydraulic ones.
