I do not think that these are avaliable in CD format unless they are pirated.

As far as I know, that's correct. Unless PCNA has them available for sale, in which case they're probably $600. Seriously.

Last year this came up. Supposedly PCNA was supposed to release the manuals in electronic format about a year ago, I don't know if they ever did. To my knowledge the <71 stuff is not available in electronic pirated format at this time. I've never seen it.

I had an experienced Porsche tech and driver to teach me, hands on, during my first valve adjust. I was so thankful I gave a rather big sum of money for helping me. He said, in return, he would give me a CD copy of the factory manuals. This was last summer and I have since then forgot about it. I will try to get in touch with him again. I`ll let you know what happens.

I wouldn't pirate the bentley - they spent a lot of $$ to create those things - no one will do it again if they can't make back their investment, let a lone enough profit to put beans on the table...

I sure wish P AG would put out the factory manual on CD tho - you could rearrange all the updates to go where they should instead of in separate volumes. They could make some $$ if they sold them and garner a huge amount of good will. If the price was reasonable, then the piracy rate would be low, and the same arg. as above would apply too.

It is not. That link is a PDF of the factory service manual.

It is the Bentley Manual, page for page. Sorry. The PET is a factory document, but it's only a parts list... no torque specs, no how to..

Those are and have been available electronically, the problem is that they build upon the first few volumes, <71, which aren't available electronically, pirated online.
