brembo brake upgrade

Does any one have experience with this upgrade? I would like to do this to my 78 sc and would appreciate advice including the negatives involved in this upgrade.

Negatives.....hmm...let me see.....oh yeah....It cost 2 TO 3 THOUSANDS DOLLARS!!!!!!!. You have a light car and my opinion is you don't need these brakes for the money. Upgrade to a more recent stock system. The Brembo's are for the big heavy Turbos that go 170 MPH.

2 to 3 $$k for just the parts. Figure another 2k for intallation, etc. I know someone who just did the big red/dual master cyl. stainless line setup. right around 5 thou. For $1,700 Windward sets up a nice 928s4 setup on the fronts with stock rears...this is advised for 911's, and is supposed to be fantastic.

Call Kevin Buckler at The Racers Group! He will give you some straight foward advice on brake upgrades, they build all sorts of neat parts for installing larger brake on P-cars. He can also talk to you about wheel clearance and what you can and can't do with stock wheels, what you will need for a master cylinder, and all of that catch me grab you stuff you will need to know.
