Well, here is my new toy that I have recently added to the garage. She was built sometime between '02 and '04 by a fellow Pelicanite. Here are the details:

We all love pictures, so here are some more... and yes I know, the floor boards are toast. I plan on remaking them myself.

that car is cool and I think can and will be a great foundation to do even more cool stuff to her. Probably why you purchased here. I like the stance - how do you keep her from bottoming out?

Looks super straight! Outstanding.
Re: The floorboards. You might find the driver's one a bit difficult as it requires laminating in a form to get the curvature. It would be a real feat if you can do this (maybe you're an accomplished woodworker), but the ABS and aluminum replacements have a lot of allure. |

Believe it or not, it has the original front pan - no corrosion. More pics...

Last one post...
So there she is. Photo sensory overload! Sorry that I added so many pics, but you guys usually want lots. I cannot wait to rip her around the Midwest - maybe even take a trip out to THE RGruppe meet in CA sometime. Definitely will be going to Rennsport in Daytona with my Midwest EarlyS/RGruppe friends. So, there you have it. Thanks for letting me brag a bit about my new acquisition (although I cannot take credit since I did not build her ).

Excellent! Congrats, Scott.
If you get a chance, take/show some pictures of the height adjustment mechanism. Or we'll just have to crawl all over the car later to check it out. Boy oh boy it's going to be a long winter for you (waiting to drive the car)

Hey Julian, great to hear from you! For all you guys that don't know Julian, he was the very generous soul who went out to personally check out my 71 T.
Thanks Julian, bringing that car here has only cost me more $$$. Seriously, thanks for that help and yes, I still have it. I recently went through it mechanically and fixed the "clunk" (clutch) and did some other freshening. While the engine was out, we looked at the tranny (in great shape) and steam cleaned the underside and wheel wells. Amazingly, it cleaned the car up so well that the floor pan is the original light color, there is light ivory showing everywhere, and other painted/plated parts look great. ZERO RUST too! She is a real sweetheart and I credit the PO for keeping her in good shape, but she needed to go to a home that would provide the needed TLC so she could go another generation.Anyway, yes I still have that car and do not plan on selling it. Thanks to Julian for helping me secure that sort of barn find. Yes, the silver car bottoms out a little, but I solved that on Sunday. The builder installed a common apparatus that the Baja racers use to adjust the suspension height. It is in between the two rear seats and can be adjusted with an allen wrench. I raised it 1-1/8" and it looks much better. Oh BTW, the silver car is a CA car and has no rust what so ever. Gotta love CA! Thank you for the compliments guys.

As a longhood owner, I have to say that is one killer car. Absolutely beautiful in execution. Congrats!

Sweet ride! I like the way Al Reed finished the 6s in the style of the '67 4.5s, with black paint only around the lug nuts. Very unique look! Could you post a pic of just one wheel?

G60, I will do that, but will have to wait until later in the week. The car is about 45 minutes from my home - stored for the winter. Yeah, the wheel look is kind of cool. I was not sure how I felt about it since it adds more silver to an already silver car, but it has definitely grown on me. They are in perfect shape. Al does really nice work.
