Don, you are such a wussy! Just drive the car and when you hear the valves start to float, shift! :)

Hey, cannot wait to get back home and see the conversion. It sure sounds nice!

Joe

good call on steve not going that route....

Don

can you advice on anything I should be aware for a 3.2 conversion? What are the specifics on the parts needed? the 3.6 route is dead

FenderGuy, the website below is probably the best single source for 3.2 swap info:

http://www.pelicanparts.com/MotorCity/marcesq1/

Also, try searching old posts from DonDavis, Joseph Herreros, 1972_911T, and myself. I tried to document the major milestones of my conversion as I went along with part numbers and real costs, but I've been too lazy to go back and consolidate everything into one thread.

Search for '3.2 AND swap' for my user id if you want my old posts. My swap is done, and it turned out pretty clean, IMO. If you find something that I left undocumented or unresolved, bump the thread and ask me and I will go get pics or provide the details.

For me, the fuel system was the biggest challenge. I think I probably went through 50ft of fuel injection hose before I was comfortable with the result.

Yup, that's Marcesq's write-up. I participated in that swap.

Thanks Shuie
