Car in Question: 78 SC Targa to boot. Yeah, flame away.
For the life of me I have read everything I could find, yet I cannot figure out where the brace attaches to the master cylinder>?????? All I see is blower assy stuff. I keep reading how easy it is, yet I find myself getting ready to smash this *&%#$ ing Car! all for a stupid roll pin. Any pics anywhere??? TIA, Roman |

thank you Jay.
That helped. I was looking for the "BAR" being visible and being bolted somewhere. It would seem that ONLY the nut holding it is visible. In my own defense, I have Wayne's 101 book and no where in the pedal cluster rebuilding section does it reveal this info. thanks, Roman |

You're welcome. I think I found it in the brake booster section in the book as well. I do remember having to search the book, until I found the stupid thing myself. I loosened some other thing before I found it.
Please keep me posted as you go through the clutch adjustment. I'll be putting in my new helper spring along with all its pieces this weekend. Hopefully I'll finally get the clutch adjusted and have a car I can drive. Jay
