Well, Leland, I think you outdid yourself. You just went too far...funny as ****. Thanks for the laugh. You are trying to make fun of them, right? The coffee can exhaust, just like those honkers that you can stick a basketball in, the wing...like those people that put a huge wing on and expect it to do something for the amazing 100 miles per hour their car will do...lol

Still FUNNY!!!!!!

I would have to agree, I like it and think it does bring a wacked kind of humor.

Sorry it's sideways...

Notice the badge???!!!

I made the wing out of flat aluminum sheet metal scrap from the recycling center...lots of rivets..

The only problem is...during our stringent "High speed tests" it became very apperent that the wing works way "TOO" well.
It almost makes it scary to drive above 80 mph.
The steering gets very shallow. I'll have to adjust it to a more neutral setting do it dosen't push so hard.

People laugh their asses off at the muffler too.

It takes Balls to drive a car like that everyday...hehehehe

Leland,

You need to add some "Type R" stickers--I hear that each one you put on gives you at least an extra 10 hp.

Maybe a few "turbo" stickers, too?

LOL GO LELAND! I should do the same thing to my '87 Escort that I've had since high school, but I'm not nearly creative enough. Amazing!

I gotta hand it to ya, Leland, that is one hell of a wing...and make from recycled products too! Where can I get one like that to put on my mom's minivan (daily driver) while rebuilding my p-car? Nice touches on the crest and the rear stickers. What does is say on the right side? Can't really make it out. I bet that Nismo Ram Air system, the Folgers anodized red exhaust, and the NOS bottle gives you that 608hp figure, up 508 from stock! OOh plus you got the single wiper conversion and the 5 spoke rims for the show circuit, huh? Leland, you crack me up! What's next, a front spoiler, side skirts, and a lowered ride? Keep up the good work!

One step ahead of you blue,

More to come guys....hehehe

Oh, Ruf, according to my chiltons manual this thing came stock with 69 hp.
Not kidding.

Wow...a Porsche Carrera VTEC Type R...where can I get one of these? And damn the Ram Air, coffee can, and NOS bottle does a lot...539hp over stock! (really, only 69 hp?) Bet you miss your SC!

HELP!
-
Leland, where did you get that steering wheel? I searched Performance Products, Tweeks and, of course, Pelican but to no avail. My SC cries for a fuzzy wuzzy like that. Is it available in black? Maybe longer strands, though. Gotta give your hands that cushion feeling!

You've outdone yourself Leland!
That really is pretty bloody good. I wasn't expecting it to be that creative, but as they say, it's all in the details. I've built a couple of piss-take cars myself for a laugh, and agree, it does take balls to put yourself behind the wheel and smile. People either get it or they don't. That Nissan Kicks! A "My other car is a Porsche" bumper sticker wouldn't go amiss either.
Way to go, Leland.

Wouldn't that be a bumper sticker with "My other car is a Porsche too".

Leland, given the creativity and general workmanship, I am confident you can accomplish your P-car rebuild on time and under budget!!

Just out of curiosity, what would happen if you were to be pulled over with a car that had the name completely different than what it was. I know it is on the registration what the car is, but wouldn't that be a riot to see the cops face.

By the way, Leland, have you had any comments on your car?

I am still cracking up at the car...wish I had a play car like that now!

You must have a huge set of balls to drive that thing around. My wife even got a good laugh.

Leland,

That is really GREAT! You've created a potential Movie Star ... a cheap martial arts spoof starring that car would be a box office winner with the rice burner crowds all over!!!
