Help!! No Heat

My heater has stopped working on my '87 carrera.
The fuses for the footwell blowers were fried and I have replaced them. I have checked the fuse board and they are all o.k

am I missing anything else?

What part of the heating system has quit working? Does any heat come in the cabin? Are you talking about the engine blower motor or just the footwell blowers? Can you tell if the flapper boxes back by the heat exchangers are opening?

In the control box between the seats (10 position switch), there is a servo motor (behind the emergency brake) that have plastic connectors that break (the ones on the little connectng rod), if the plastic connector is broken, it won't close the heater boxes that let the heat flow into the cabin. I just fixed one yesterday. Unscrew the plastic part and screw the new one on and clip it into place.

Thanks for your replies. The easiest way to describe the problem is that the thermostat does not come on from the heater control, thus giving me no heat.

Sprayed the flapper boxes with WD40 today, but looked pretty rotten
