Ahh crap... I smashed it! DC Metro Area Body Shop needed

Ahh crap...

Last sat. night I smashed my 88 carrera into the guard rail on 495 in the washington d.c. metro area. I will be paying for this screw up without the insurance company help. I have tons of pics and I will post the full details after this event when things calms down a bit, but for now I need a quick recommendation on a good body shop that will not rip me off.

Thanks for any help

Wagonwork collision or Europros are widely used by locals.

go on dorkiphus.com and you'll get plenty of reccomendations... not sure about the rip-off part.... all body work is expensive and "good quality" and "for porsche" just makes that number double automatically...

>all body work is expensive and "good quality"

I disagree and would share this poster's concern. There's expensive body work that is shoddy and expensive body work that is good. I've even seen some cheaper shops do acceptable work. It's all in who runs the shop and the skill of the workers.

oh i agree completely, it's just very hard to come across skilled honest people. i'd love to find those guys myself as i'm still a candidate for bodywork myself.

OK! So let's get going with a list of fine, honest shops with skilled workers, maybe? I'm talkin' big metro areas, little towns, you name it!
I should think we all could either benefit and/or help each other in this area.
I don't mean to hijack, but it certainly is obvious that many of us need good sources for fixin' our babies' wounds......

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, oh, jeez', just whatever...
