Where to get custom A/C hoses
The PO upgraded the A/C system in my Targa but failed to properly re-route the hose from the new compressor to the deck lid condenser. Does anyone have info on where I can get a custom A/C hose made up....preferably in the greater San Jose, CA area?

Another vote for www.ackits.com
We live in Arizona and ACKits is there as well. We know cooling as it gets damm hot in the summer. You can trust these guys and they can make anything you need. They have been excellent everytime I have used them. |
you can also give Ron Maxwell a call at Rennair
http://www.rennaire.com/ hes a real nice guy and can do just about anything you need when it comes to anything A/C and Porsche related. Good Luck. |
I'm willing to bet that a local a/c or hose shop can make up a hose for you. I've had hoses made at a local hose shop. He was able to re-use my fittings, and the cost was very reasonable.
These guys might be able to help: http://www.thehoseshop.com/ Or, check your local yellow pages. Scott |
