I have some pictures almost just like that. Unfortunately. Luckily, my car received the Steve Austin Bionic Man treatment. I rebuilt it better than it was...faster...stronger.... :>)

Mark, i drove past the scene just after the cop walked away from you.

I thought about stopping but figured you'd not be in a very good mood.

I hope the lady in the mazda has good insurance.

Jim is that Summit Point? I was up there in my black 997 and checking out a Porsche that I think was yours one day this fall. Could it have been yours?

Yeah, those pics are from the Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point, in 2005. In the first I'm presenting my long hood to oncoming traffic, to see if they're on their toes. The second pic is more obvious. Just call me pig-pen.

Early, you might have seen my car, but not dressed to play on the track. I made it over to S.P. a time or two, but just as a visitor.

Was this an OEM or aftermarket tie rod end?

Mark's pics explain why I avoid driving my 911 up to Portland...every time I go up there, I break out in a cold sweat. It's Kamikaze driving in Portland these days. Nobody likes to give the other guy any room. I figure I'm fortunate every time I make it home unscathed.

Especially crossing into Washington - that 10 or so mile stretch of roadway is twisty Interstate construction/old road HELL.
