Bendix Fuel Pump Filter for '67S sources??

Does anyone know where to get replacement filters...the one that goes inside the Bendix (Facet?) pump?

Thanks!

Eric, I think the only difference between the US pump and the European pump is the size of the ports and the color of the sticker. Accordingly, you might substitute the mesh filter from an US version for the one in your pump.

John, I figured you'd have an idea. Where do I get the mesh filter for the US version though?

Thanks!

Eric, the filter you want is called FEP43270. That is according to the application guide: http://www.facet-purolator.com/mcl/media/Appref/hd_pdfs/Facet_Guide_2004.pdf

Try these guys, they are in Ohio. http://www.jnelectric.com/

If that doesn't work check the list of distributors on the facet-purolator web site.

Good luck! Let me know if it fits, I'll buy a couple.

Does anyone have or can provide a picture of the correct mounting of the Bendix fuel pump on a '67S?
Thanks,

JB

Garage
Aircraft Spruce & Specialty Co. carries the full line of Facet interrupter pumps that are similar to the old Bendix unit. The internal filter is part number 479729 shown on the page linked above for $2.60 ea.

Wish I had known of these websites that sell the Facet pumps when I bought one for my 67S. I bought a FEP 87SV that pumps out 4-5.5 psi. Made my carbs leak. Should have gotten the FEP 60SV. It pumps 2.75-4 psi. I've been told the Webers want between 3.5 and 4 psi.

Thanks for the info.
