3.2 partial drop question
I need to lowered my 3.2 engine (partial drop)...how many inches can I drop it to stay safe. I don't want to hurt anything in the process...Thanks....Syl

Unfortunately, I do not have an answer to your question. But, I'll be the first to ask....Why do you need to do a partial drop?
Your answer to that question should get many responses on how to accomplish your task with and without the partial drop. |

There is no exact measurement for this, just common sense. Usually, with a partial drop, the engine/transmission will sit on an angle. Most important: Disconnect the shift coupler completely (Allen set screw) so there is no damage to the input shaft on the 915. Support the engine/transmission, loosen the transmission mounts a few turns, (leave the bolts in) remove engine mount bolts, lower the jack a little. The lines, cables and hoses have enough play in them but you have to watch carefully while lowering. |
