I don't know of anywhere else to get them.
I asked member widebody911 - Thom Fitzpatrick who was making f/glass or carbon fibre pieces but is no longer due to Parts Heaven starting up production of the metal parts. I think it was mainly the LHS duct with the indentation in it for the later larger diameter dizzies required for SC's & Carrera's. I thought I saw that they were quite expensive around $145 per piece but PRETTY. Any other leads on plastic/ fglass?

Here's one from our host, but it doesn't have a place to hook up a hose from it to the tin. Where the tube comes through the tin would have to be capped off.

Bill I'm a little confused.
Using this part on an SC would disable the heat wouldn't it? How would the heat exchangers get air? chhers, Phil

I don't know how that would work with an SC. But I thought you just wanted something for the LHS SC OR Carrera? This was more for what I have on my Carrera. I get heat from the green arrows in pic by using the red levers in between the seats on the floor. I capped off the pipe (red arrow). When it's moving down the e-way, it pumps out good heat. It even gets too hot sometimes. Also, so far I haven't had any engine overheating issues either. This pic came from '84-'86 PET catalog from Porsche.
![]() Lets get back on topic for Oh Haha's SC......

Why not rotate the inlets on the heat exchangers [part 27 in red] so that they face upward and plumb the system like a 74? Bet they would even work on the Carrera's!!
![]() Of course, you still need to spend some money on the parts in red below: ![]() Also, I'm not sure its wise to block of the heat exchangers. Think about it..even when you are not using the heat, the engine fan is moving air thru them and pulling heat away from the engine. The factory obviously thought this was a good thing and included an over temp circuit on the carrera's that turned the rear heater blower on when the car was stationary to help push some additional air thru the heat exchangers.
