LM1 Install Question

I am installing a LM1 wideband O2 sensor as part of a CIS to EFI conversion (modified Tbitz kit). My car has a regular O2 sensor, so I was hoping to run the sensor cable through the same hole in the engine tin. The connector on the LM1 sensor is way too big for this. Anybody have a nice way of running the sensor wires for a LM1?

Bore the hole a little larger using a unibit and get a different grommet for it OR make a slot to fit the wire through and close that gap once wire is in place.

mine runs along the rear mount bar. That big ass connector is sort a hassle isn't it.
I ran it along the pass side under the oil filter and through a hole behind the passenger shock tower. I had just enough cable to make it to the passenger seat. I have it permanently mounted on the tunnel between the two seats. I put it there because of the limits of the cable lengths of the sensor, the gauge, power line and ground, rpm converter....
my car had a stock hole already behind the drivers side tower. I have other stuff running through there, and the easiest way was another hole at the other tower, otherwise I would have used this existing hole. Quickest route and most open to replace the sensor and cable is how I went after it. I'm sure there are a 100 ways to do it well. That's just how I did it.
