'69 911 in its natural element...NOT

Some nice weather we're having here. Famous last words: "Oh sure, I can use the 911 all winter as my daily driver..."

What part of NM are you from?

I lived in Portales for a while 10 years ago.

It snowed a few times and I ended up carpooling my co-workers in my Weber Carbed 2 liter 75 beetle because they were "scared" of snow omutting to CLovis and Farwell, TX.

I scared the crap out of my passangers blasting down the highway at 60 MPH in white-out conditions and drifting around the corners

I live in the middle of Albuquerque. Sort of gives new meaning to 911 oversteer. But I have to admit, I'm actually enjoying driving my car in this weather. Its much easier to drift it around corners.

That's an interesting look with the black rear bumpers & license panel. Do you have some other fotos showing the front? Thanks. -- Curt

I was talking with my sister who lives east of Albuquerque today. She said I-40 was closed from Jaun Tabo to the Texas border! Time to hit that Sandia Ski area at the top of the tram. Put that little 911 away!

Oh yea, hopefully I'll be snowboarding this weekend.
And Curt, here's a pic of the front. Actually, the rear bumper is black because I recently got rear ended and that is a new MA Shaw bumper. But I kinda like the way it looks. I just can't figure out how to tie it in with the rest of the car. The front hood is black because when I bought the car, it had a C/F hood, which I was going to leave bare. After I had the rest of the car painted BMW Titanium Silver, I realized I didn't like the C/F hood, so I sold it and bought this one on EBay. It was already black. I'll probably just have the whole car painted again at some point anyway, since the quality isn't too great.

Hey Zack, this is how I tied the different colors together.

I'm thinking along the same lines for the Carrera. Not going to use the platinum this time, though.
