Hmmm, you are doing something about increasing your alternator output I hope?
Looks very nice but bet that the amp draw (and extra wires/relays) were a bit of work! How about a pic of the inside? Joe

joe spoke w/daveb @ tre. 1987 alt. will do fine. no changes no nothing. somewhere i saved his amp/drawdown/rpm figures on my puter. we went over this in depth, a few months back. i told him we would be using hella h-4's in oem headlight position, hella 550's for driving lights in RUF spoiler and the hella 4000's in light pod.
obviously it wouldnt help to be idling w/all lights on! LOL. we are setting this up on quick-disconnects. all we will have to do is remove one hood for light pod hood and attach connections. already have another latch on light pod hood. my amigo and i take off allens on hood hinges and place other hood on. trying to fab (1) completely removeable bracket w/ light pod became a weight issue and a BOUNCE ISSUE! |
