Hey all. I asked about this before but I am including pics this time around. My car is black. I bought new rear window moulding and rubber and will have a glass shop replace my existing. The guy before me painted it and he painted the rubber,-looks a bit tacky. But the 1/4 windows were also painted, and make the whole car not look as nice as it could. I've no idea how to remove these fixed type windows?? so I need help there. I have been uynable to locate black trim windows at a decent price. I also cannot locate just trim at a decent price and am not sure if the trim separates on these windows or if it is a whole piece. It appears it will separate and peli parts has the trim I think, but the work makes me sketchy so until summer is here I will hold off on that. In the meantime I really want to paint them black to cover up the aluminum showing through. So how best to paint it? or if anyone has advice please feel free to include it.

I took mine apart and changed the inner seal and painted them.
They come apart at the short steight end. There are very small screws on the inside of the outer seal. Remove the outer seal and you will see them. You do not have to remove all of them to get the frame apart, just a couple. Then you can remove the glass and replace the inner seal. Getting the glass back in is a little tough, it took a little finesseing. I used SEM etch primer and SEM trim black to repaint. It seems to be holding up pretty good. My car is not a daily driver though. Good luck Rich
