I live in Sacto...and haven't had to have an alignment done on my 911 but did have one done on my 944. You can Check with Frank's on Folsom Ave. He's a real crackerjack with 911s. Considered one of the best on 911 stuff. Or you can go to Niello..(dealer where I had the 944 done). Aside from that I'd be real leery of places like Discount tire or Big "O". They may be able to do it but Discount scratched one of my polished Fuchs. (They were willing to pay for the polish out of the rim but took a long time to get them to do that).

had my alignment done by OK Tire & Wheel on Auburn Blvd. Did a great job and are very careful with the car.

Had my alignement done yesterday morning at the Tire Source In Petaluma Ca. by a fellow named Larry, who's been around 911s for years and who relocated from San Rafael where he worked for Demings Tires as their alignment guy for years. Seems to have set up a lot of Redwood PCA cars for auto-X.
I came in at 9:30am, got to watch the whole process and was on the road by 11am. Even from Sacto, it's worth the trip. Give him a call at (707} 763-4159 Cheers, Joe Garcia 86 Carrera |
