Welcome to the forum!

Glad to see yet another European Pelican. Not many French around here so far. Not that many Swedes either, come to think of it.

Anyway, you have come to the right place. Although I can not answer your question myself, the pros are right behind me.

Pictures of your car are very welcome.

Happy New Year to you to! :)

Welcome to Pelican.SmileWavy
You will find a lot of help here.

Here is a thread:
”How to post images (pictures) on Pelican“.

There isn’t an easy answer to your question. It depends on your use. Race 911s usually use solid engine mounts. Compliant engine mounts lessen stress on the engine and chassis. The choice is yours.

Best,
Grady

Bienvenue au Pélican. SmileWavy

Mieux,
Grady

BTW, your English is just fine, my lame translation is by Google.
There isn't any reason we can't have multi-lingual Pelican.
G.

Pelican godasse-de-plom,

As I said above, you can get a lot of help here. I think there are a lot of non-English speaking Europeans who are missing an opportunity by not being on Pelican. This is a world-wide forum. You can see this as the time rotates around the globe with daytime in the Western Hemisphere, Asia/Aus/NZ, India/mid-East, and Europe/Africa.

I’m going to challenge you to get French involvement. Posting in French is acceptable. It is ‘politically correct’ to add an English translation. The converse is true for replies. It is appropriate to have additional English to French translation.

We have a difficult time with our Britt Porsche compatriots. As Winston Churchill said “We are a people separated by a common language.” We should be able to get over the language issue and share our common interest with Porsche.

Best,
Grady

Mieux,
Grady

You can buy the WEVO mounts here from Pelican Parts.

Cheers

randywebb 12-30-2006 12:25 PM

Wevo are best of all the stiffer mounts. For a pure street car, some might prefer the stock (OEM) mounts.
