rewiring headlights/access to back of bucket

OK, finally embarked on H4 / relay upgrade on my 78 SC. I am using 2 relays and wanted to upgrade to 12 gauge wiring from relays to headlight. I made a mistake (I think) by pulling the wiring back thru the inner fender to use the old turn signal/side marker wires. Only then did I remember/realize that it is a ***** to get wires back thru. There is no access and the wire has to enter the inner grommet, run 4 -6 inches to the rear and then angle forward again to enter the headlight grommet. It looks like I have to remove the washer bottle to get some access here. I am not sure the access on the passenger side is any better!
Anybody with any tips on how to proceed?

After thinking further I simply pulled the grommet in the bucket, inserted a stiff 10ga wire from the trunk side and fished it thru the wider hole in the bucket where the grommet fits. I geuss I was just tired.
I think I am also gonna do the mod to make the side marker also indicate a turn a la Dan Stern
