Relocating, buy or trade for my 95 C2?
I just got a great job offer in Boston, but due to the housing situation don't want to park my perfect 19k mile 95 993 C2 coupe on the street. Would like it to go to a good home, possible trade for late model Audi Quattro or 86-89 3.2 Targa. Car's guards red over black partial leather, 6-speed, 17" Cup rims, hi-fi, K-40 detector, sunroof, power seat package, cruise control, all records, clean service history, no damage or paint work. Superb example from an enthusiast who's owned seven 911s. If you're thinking of a 993, this is the one; price is $47k, trade considered as per above. See it at http://home.kscable.com/vicsite/993.html and my apologies if this post is inappropriate for this forum.

Nice car. My next Porsche will be a 993, but I've got to wait a while for them to depreciate a little more.
I've got one question though. Your car has only 19K miles on it, yet it has had 3 different owners. I understand your reason t sell, but why did the first two? It took me two years to find and purchase my VERY used 79SC, and I've owned it for nine years and plan on owning it until I can find a 95 or 96 993 for around 30K (probably another 5 years). ------------------ Bill Krause '79 911SC Euro |

The first owner had it for two years and drove it fairly regularly; the second owner owned it until 2 months ago but used it only as a weekend "fun" car. He loved the car, and didn't want to sell, but his wife wanted him to get a Tiptronic so she could drive it too (she didn't like the 6-speed). Personally, I drive it everywhere and love it, but don't want to subject it to the crap they put on the roads in the winter up there (nor leave it out in the snow!).
